Rama Fresnels and Luis for Scarborough Spa's Grand Hall

Yorkshire's historic Scarborough Spa Complex unveiled the first phase of its £3.75 million pound renovation programme in February 2007, with a team from Fagan Electrical heading a massive technical refurbishment designed to place the venue firmly on the touring map.

The project was headed by Fagan Electrical, lead contractors for the entire technical refurbishment programme, with the audio system design and installation carried out in close co-operation with Lo Humm Audio.

The 1,924 capacity Grand Hall, at the heart of the Spa Complex opened for business with brand new production lighting, audio and video systems.

Four main lighting trusses carry the lighting which includes 24 Selecon Rama Fresnels and 12 Selecon Lui Cycs amongst other stage lighting, strobe and hazers.

The Spa Complex's other venues - the 600-capacity Spa Theatre, the Grand Hall (1,924) for concerts, the Ocean Room (900), the Promenade Lounge, Sun Court for open air concerts, and various other rooms, cafes and bar areas all have refurbishments planned.
