Selecon stage lighting for Kokos Centre

For the highest education in theatre and dance in Finland look no further than the Theatre Academy of Finland; a university with a proud history of performing arts and research in Helsinki.

Now located in "The Kokos Centre", a historic building originally built as a soap factory in 1911, passed from owner to owner until it's recent renovation for the Theatre Academy.

This renovation saw the installation of some 250 Selecon luminaires including Arena Zoomspots, Arena Theatre Fresnels and PCs, 1200 Compact Fresnels, a Performer Followspot, Pacifics and Aurora Cys and Groundrows.

Now under the protection of the National Board of Antiquities, the building has been renamed 'The Kokos Centre" and provides first class facilities such as one main stage, four studio stages and one auditorium with support facilities of several studios for dance rehearsals, class rooms and offices.
