The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) Australia's premiere drama training institution, realised a long-time dream in replacing their old Parade Theatre with a venue more appropriate for such a prestigious organisation. Tony Youlden, NIDA's Technical Director at the time, acted as Theatre Consultant for the project specifying Selecon for all the theatrical luminaire requirements (except the par cans).

The equipment list includes 164x Pacifics, 20x Arena PCs, 60x 1200 High Performance PCs, 38x Auroras and 2x Performer MSR Followspots.

As Tony commented "Continuing in the vein of distinction that NIDA is world renowned for, we now boast a venue of excellence, in all respects from the luminaires on the lighting rigs to the sightlines to the acoustics to the back stage facilities."

Herkes Pro Lighting of Sydney, Selecon's long standing NSW dealer supplied the package.
