The ABTT Theatre Show once again proved itself to be the best showcase opportunity for Selecon in the UK providing an exhibition event catering exclusively for the general theatre marketplace. It’s reputation for being a visitor friendly event and an ideal place to meet end users sees attendance numbers in the hundreds.

The venue for ABTT is London's Horticultural halls which, 80V 1200W direct DMX Power System - rear viewalthough may be not the best for showing or demonstrating lighting products as the halls are enclosed in glass for the primary purpose of exhibiting plants, is where working technicians and administrators from all aspects of working theatre, as well as their managers, architects, consultants, mechanical engineers and services engineers involved in the planning and building of new facilities flock to each year to network and talk to manufacturers of industry related product.

Selecon used this opportunity to launch the new 80V direct DMX-controlled Power System which removes the need for a separate dimmer. The Power Supply fits into the standard industry mains power control distribution systems as used for moving lights.

Compatible with both the Pacific range and now the Rama 175 HP Fresnel this energy-saving Power System provides up to 2kW of output from a 1200W lamp delivering a white bright low voltage instrument for most venues.  Rama 175 HP Fresnel with yoke mounted Power Supply

This DMX model is in addition to the original Selecon 80V Power System for venues wishing to use existing dimmers to drive their 80V luminaires. The output of a conventional dimmer drives the Power Supply from zero to full in proportion and with similar response to the dimmer output.
