Luminaire Design:
Award of Excellence
Australia & New Zealand

The Illuminating Engineering Society of Australia and New Zealand (IESANZ) recently recognised Selecon's new family range of performance Wing Wall Washer Floods with two 2008 Luminaire Design : Award of Excellence Awards (one from each side of the Tasman).

The Wing range showcases Selecon's deep understanding of the requirements and challenges of specialised display lighting with a choice of high performance wall wash floods that offer lighting designers and specifiers the opportunity of using less lights for more light with precision operational features in a single ‘low profile' design look which minimises intrusion into the architectural space.

Precision pan and tilt allen screw lock off adjustments with reference scales delivering the benefits of standardised set-up and reduced installation and labour times.

One solution, multiple choice! A wide range of light sources (linear tungsten halogen, Halolux, CDM metal halide and compact fluorescent) take advantage of the latest in lamp technologies offering a choice of colour rendering; dimming capability; life hours; energy consumption and cost to meet the varying requirements of different projects.

The single ‘low profile' look is achieved through the integration of necessary power supplies into the length of the luminaire rather than being mounted in ugly separate housings and is available in three colours: white, black and silver-grey with either track adapter or ceiling rose mounting options.
