Long life light sources for the Crossroads of the World

Situated in the centre of Jakarta, the Grand Indonesia Shopping Town is a vast 250,000 square metre complex, that links together the Menara BCA (Jakarta’s tallest premium grade office tower), the Kempinski Residences (a 57 storey residential tower), and the iconic Hotel Indonesia – Kempinski.

With such a varied and diverse collection of potential customers, the Shopping Town is grouped into three Districts. There is a specialty district with luxury retail brands, a main mall district; the bustling centre thoroughfare for the cosmopolitan shopper, and the highlight of the Shopping Town: The Crossroads of the World.

Designed by world-leading theme park designer Gary Goddard, The Crossroads of the World is located on the top two levels of the complex, and offers a cross cultural experiential shopping experience.

There is a Moroccan Style Bazaar, a fashion area that pays homage to the French Moulin Rouge, a bustling New York City styled entertainment section with a light and water spectacular and an Asian influenced garden with natural landscaped surroundings.

Over 50 Pacific Fixed Beam and Pacific Zoomspot profiles with the CDM 150W long life lamp source were chosen by The Crossroads of the World’s lighting designers, CD+M Lighting Design Group as well as over 30 Pacific 90° CDM150 super wide Fixed Beams and 24 Aureol BeamSpots.
