Selecon host successful Dealer Training Event in London

29 April 2009,

Selecon held a Dealer training day at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London this month which was enthusiastically attended by staff from a wide range of companies from the South East of the UK.

Designed to address and answer the common question of what theatre schools and educational facilities are required to know about the art of stage lighting Selecon turned to Neil Fraser, Director of Technical Training at RADA to lead the session.

Neil delivered a very educational experience for attendees on both the practical use and technical understanding of theatrical luminaires and how they are used by our customers; including practical work which culminated in lighting three scenes from Macbeth.

David Goodman of A.C. Entertainment Technologies Limited said, "it was very informative and interesting and good to actually get "hands on"."

"Just a quick note to say thanks for the course and your hospitality on Wednesday/Thursday, I came away from the event having really gained a good understanding on what lanterns to use and why", Paul Lucas, Stage Electrics.
