Powerful even 90° flood

The Aurora Flood provides a powerful even flood beam of 90°. The beam is well-controlled with minimal light spill and doesn't light up the adjacent stage area or cause distracting highlights on scenery; ideal for permanent installations or temporary rental/production requirements.

The Aurora Flood range includes the single luminaire (also available with pole operation tilt); 3-way and 4-way linear battens. All batten/square models are available with multi-connectors, in/out options or 2.4m cable tails.

Selecon's Cyc, Flood and Groundrow ranges have a well-deserved reputation for delivering life up to double that of other open-faced cyc floods of comparative wattage

The unique dual chamber airflow design creates a temperature differential between the lamp compartment, isolated by the safety glass from the colour filter compartment which causes rapid airflow through the luminaire and across both surfaces of the filter, quickly removing the heat to maximise filter life.

The Selecon colour frame for the Hui, Lui and Aurora ranges gently clamps the plastic filter while holding the frame away from the luminaire body to reduce (-20°C) the transference of the heat from the luminaire into the frame and plastic filter.

Calculating the Numbers

To calculate the number of luminaires required to achieve even coverage:
S=D x 0.9.
