Selecon clocks in with luminaires for Clocktower Centre

The Clocktower Centre Moonee Valley, Victoria, Australia was the first theatre to be re-fitted to the VAPAC (victorian Association of Performing Arts Centres) steering group's survey recommendations setting a benchmark for future theatre projects in the state of Victoria.

Working from a specification developed by theatre consultant, the late Denis Irving, the Selecon range of luminaires met the design and performance criteria and presented exceptional value for money. As a result over 200 Selecon luminaires light up the Centre stage. Operations manager at the time, Matthew Pope was so impressed with the performance and versatility of the Pacific that rather than taking traditional 650W profiles he standardised on the Pacific, taking different lamp modules to cater for the various throw distances.

Subsequent Selecon luminaire orders supplied by Clearlight Shows Pty Ltd included the Malthouse Theatre in Melbourne, Bendigo Regional Arts Centre, Her Majesty's Theatre in Ballarat, Robinvale Arts Centre, Kyabram Plaza Theatre and Swan Hill Town Hall.
